Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship, HNC/HND or degree in mechanical, production or general engineering.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding and workshop machinery.
• Must be able to operate manual/CNC steel fabrication machines.
• Experience leading a team of 20+ employees.
• Good understanding of quality, H&S and ISO 9001, plus strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ workshop employees and oversee daily production.
• Manage fabrication and machining activities across press brakes, guillotines, punches, tube benders, lathes and milling machines.
• Carry out quality and first-off inspections and support ISO 9001 requirements.
• Ensure health & safety standards across the factory and workshop.
• Work with management to improve production, quality, safety and workshop efficiency.
