Job summary

Uber Boat by Thames Clippers is seeking a Production Controller to support a 24/7 engineering operation from the Head Office in London with occasional travel to other facilities. The role requires shift working and strong planning and data interpretation abilities.

The successful candidate will ensure fleet compliance, optimize vessel availability, and maintain high standards in vessel appearance. Relevant marine engineering knowledge is preferred, with strong communication skills throughout the

This is a crucialrole within the Engineering department that will include shift working. The EngineeringProduction Controller will support the 24/7 engineering operation from the HeadOffice in London with occasional travel to other facilities in our network.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Complianceof the UBTC fleet of vessels through effective planning.
  
• Vesselavailability ensuring the maximum capacity is available for our customers whilstmaintaining compliance at all times and ensuring vessel appearance is of thehighest standards.
  
• Allwork packages are completed iaw procedures in place and to the higheststandards.
  
• Compile maintenance documentation iaw procedures.
  
• All reports are maintained to assist in improving on KPIs
  

Requirements

· Planningand organisational.

· Interpersonal,collaborative and influencing.

· Analysisand interpretation of data to enable production of optimised plans.

· Canwork to deadlines and able to respond to operational changes.

· Multitask with various departments whilst maintaining a calm and professionalattitude.

· Marine engineering experience/knowledge

· Familiarisation with the management of ISMcompliance.
