Job summary

The Sterling Choice is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a senior role within a leading food manufacturing site in the UK. You will own capital projects from scoping through to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to required standards.

You will manage multi-million budgets and multiple stakeholders, coordinating internal teams and external partners to drive project success and value for the business.

Qualifications

• End-to-end project management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable managing substantial budgets and multiple stakeholders.
• Track record delivering projects in excess of £1m.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from scoping and business case through to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines and delivery strategies.
• Manage project spend and ensure budgets are controlled effectively.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet business objectives.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and external partners during delivery.
• Support procurement, tendering and contractor selection.
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, technical and other internal teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to standard.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and report progress.
• Support commissioning, handover and post-project review.
