Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Planning & Stores Controller for our Markham Vale site, working Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.00. You will manage engineering spares, stock, and procurement to support plant efficiency.

Forecast material needs, schedule parts arrivals in production timelines, and conduct regular stock counts. You will use SAP/Oracle and maintain accurate ERP data to minimise stock variances and downtime.

Qualifications

• Requires ERP/stock planning experience with SAP or Oracle.
• Proficient in Excel and data-driven forecasting.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical supply chain.
• Excellent attention to detail to avoid stock discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering spares, project materials, and stock levels to support plant efficiency.
• Forecast material needs and schedule parts arrivals in line with production timelines.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with digital logs in SAP.
• Raise purchase requisitions and monitor supplier lead times.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/CMMS systems.
