Job summary

Omega Resource Group is looking for an Engineering Planner for a 12-month hybrid contract based in Reading. The role involves developing and managing detailed engineering schedules, coordinating scope activities, and ensuring delivery within budget and on time.

The ideal candidate will have experience in planning within advanced manufacturing and be proficient in Primavera P6 and SAP, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize resource use and mitigate

Qualifications

Experience in planning and scheduling within advanced manufacturing
Demonstrable experience of managing complex engineering schedules
Proficient in Primavera P6
Proficient in SAP

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and update detailed engineering schedules for projects and services.
Integrate schedules with overall scope timelines and client requirements.
Analysis, monitor and report on schedule progress, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues
Coordinate engineering activities with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Allocate engineering resources effectively to meet project demands.
Collaborate with resource managers to ensure the availability of required skills and personnel.
Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies and scenario plans.
Identify opportunities for process improvements.
