RWE Generation UK is offering an industrial placement at the Markinch CHP plant for a motivated student studying Chemical Engineering, with a 13-month full-time fixed-term contract. You will lead an engineering project, analyse plant performance and report findings to partners while gaining exposure to site operations.

Qualifications

• Ideally studying Chemical Engineering.
• If studying a related subject and interested in plant performance, apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead on an engineering project to improve site performance.
• Monitor plant performance through data analysis & interpretation and report it to partners.
• Provide recommendations for improvements, with support from colleagues.
• Implement solutions to optimise asset’s commercial performance.
• Undertake chemical testing as part of process and environmental quality monitoring.
