RWE Generation UK offers a process/chemical engineering industrial placement at the Markinch Combined Heat and Power plant. The role starts 28th June 2027 for 13 months, full-time, on-site. You will lead projects, monitor performance via data analysis, and implement improvements with team support.

Qualifications

• Ideally you are currently studying Chemical Engineering.
• Interest in plant performance and optimisation welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead on an engineering project to improve site performance.
• Monitor plant performance through data analysis and interpretation, and report results to partners.
• Provide recommendations for improvements with support from colleagues.
• Undertake chemical testing as part of process and environmental quality monitoring.
