Job summary

Wayve is seeking a People Partner to support Engineering in a fast-growing, technical environment. You’ll own routine ER cases, advise managers, and help shape policies while partnering with the Senior People Partner for Engineering to deliver a trusted first point of contact for staff and leaders.

You’ll contribute to engagement, learning and development, data reporting, offboarding, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a People Partnering or Advisory role in a fast-paced scale-up.
• Experience partnering with Engineering or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and end-to-end ER management.
• Ability to coach and influence managers and drive decisions in sensitive situations.
• Experience delivering initiatives across engagement, performance, learning & development, or policy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage employee relations cases and maintain trackers.
• Provide first-level coaching and advisory support to managers and employees.
• Be the first point of contact for People-related queries and triage complex issues.
• Collaborate on People initiatives, engagement, and retention strategies.
• Assist with data collection, reporting, and policy documentation.
• Support offboarding processes and documentation.
• Contribute to internal communications, resources, and policy development.
• Support Talent Acquisition and build relationships with local stakeholders.
