Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for an Engineering Manager to lead a portfolio of Water Projects from our Leeds office, managing a multi-disciplinary team to deliver permanent works with emphasis on buildability and cost control.

The role involves collaborating with civil, process, electrical, ICA and H&S teams across design and delivery, surveys, option engineering, and handover on D&B projects, while maintaining high technical standards.

Qualifications

• HND/Bachelor/Master's in Civil Engineering.
• Designer with ability to manage design and cost perspectives.
• Experience in financial management and cost control of projects.
• Strong analysis and design skills for complex structures.
• Open-minded approach to solving civil/structural challenges.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a portfolio of Water Projects and Permanent Works schemes.
• Lead the design and engineering delivery for water and wastewater projects.
• Oversee all stages of design and delivery, including surveys, option engineering, design, construction and handover on D&B projects.
• Coordinate with civil, process, electrical, ICA and H&S teams for seamless integration.
