Job summary

Murphy is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer to support our expanding Water & Wastewater portfolio, delivering full design-to-operation solutions for Uisce Éireann, Northern Ireland Water and other key clients. The role focuses on detailed technical design, optioneering, and assurance, working within multi-disciplinary teams to meet regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

Strong technical delivery on capital water projects (clean water/wastewater) in the UK.
Experience with sludge treatment processes and bioremediation approaches is preferred.
Knowledge of CDM 2015 and health & safety requirements in construction projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimise technical designs for water/wastewater projects including upgrades and pumping stations.
Lead technical optioneering, hydraulic and process modelling from concept to construction-ready stage.
Provide technical assurance on designs, drawings, and contractor submissions.
