Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Manager in Gloucestershire on a hybrid basis (3 days on-site). You will lead a team of engineers, oversee design outputs and ensure compliance with design standards for major infrastructure projects across the UK and abroad.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and strong leadership in structural steel and bridges, with a track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions and driving improvements across engineering

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven leadership or management experience within an engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of engineers, supporting performance and progression.
• Oversee engineering design outputs including calculations, drawings and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UK and international design standards and codes.
• Manage resources and priorities to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems and standards.
• Provide technical leadership for structural steel and bridge projects.
