NewStore is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact engineering team, shape strategy, mentor talent, and ensure long-term technical sustainability while growing our Omni-Channel Point of Sale platform. AI has changed how teams build, not what “good” means.

Your job is to create the conditions that get us there. You’ll shape architecture, hire engineers, and reinvent how the team works, including AI-assisted development and rigorous quality practices.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of software development with 3+ years managing an engineering team.
• Strong background in modern software development practices, cloud platforms (AWS) and distributed systems.
• Experience hiring strong engineers quickly and coaching them, with honest feedback as the basis for growth.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team: own delivery, health and production stability of one engineering team and their agents.
• Own architecture within your domain and ensure interfaces align with target architecture.
• Own hiring and grow the team up to staff level with strong interviewing.
• Redesign team processes and experiment with AI-assisted development.
• Deliver against ambiguity by aligning roadmaps with product and design.
