Job summary

NewStore is seeking a visionary VP of Engineering to own the engineering function, set the technical direction, and lead the leadership team as the company expands into AI-driven capabilities. This is the most senior engineering role, shaping architecture, culture, and external presence across a rapidly growing platform.

• Proven track record as a senior engineering leader with company-wide technical direction.
• Experience building and scaling multiple engineering teams and leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to shape architecture and engineering culture at scale.
• Comfortable engaging with board, customers, and executives on technical strategy.
• Experience in startups or scale-ups and delivering rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering vision and technical direction for NewStore, setting architectural strategy and platform bets.
• Lead the engineering leadership layer and design the org structure to scale with the business.
• Drive hiring, performance management, and professional development across engineering.
