Job summary

Pythia Sports is seeking an Engineering Manager in London to lead a growing multidisciplinary team of engineers, testers and infrastructure specialists. You will translate the company’s technical and product strategy into clear priorities, drive architectural decisions and ensure the platform delivers outstanding experiences for partners.

Qualifications

• Strong track record coaching engineers and building high-performing teams.
• Significant experience in betting or gaming industry.
• Hands-on experience with Java Spring and Kafka is required.
• Experience with cloud-native development, ideally AWS, and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scalable, resilient production services and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team with clear priorities, responsibilities and an inclusive culture.
• Translate technical and product strategy into actionable plans and delivery.
• Drive architecture decisions focusing on scalability, performance and reliability.
• Ensure testing, documentation and operational support are strong and up to date.
