Job summary

BettingJobs in London is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team. You will set delivery priorities, translate strategy into plans, and drive scalable, observable production services in a fast-paced betting/gaming environment.

The role requires hands-on Java Spring, Kafka, and cloud-native development with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes expertise. Remote collaboration with cross-functional partners and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading and coaching engineering teams.
Significant hands-on Java Spring and Kafka expertise.
Background in betting/gaming technology.
Cloud-native development experience (AWS preferred).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of scalable, resilient production services.
Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering risks.
Strong PostgreSQL and REST API skills.
Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence; Agile.
Experience leading remote teams in fast-paced environments.
Stakeholder management up to C-level.

Responsibilities
