Job summary

Redshore is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee manufacturing activities and lead a team of manufacturing engineers and offline programmers. You will direct methods of manufacture using Lean principles, quote lead times and costs, and support NPI projects.

You will also liaise with customers, drive continuous improvement, and mentor the team programming CNC milling and turning to meet demand for high-precision parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
• Leadership experience in a machining environment.
• Experience with high precision milled and turned parts.
• Fully conversant with offline programming.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing activities by directing a team of manufacturing engineers and offline programmers.
• Lead technical discussions with customers, quote lead times and costs for jobs.
• Support NPI projects, CI activities and the operational team including programming CNC milling and turning to meet demand.
