Job summary

Redshore is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their precision engineering operation delivering services across aerospace, motorsport, defence, energy and automotive sectors.

You will drive Lean improvements, lead client discussions, quote timelines and costs, support New Product Introduction and CI activities, and program CNC mills and lathes to meet demand, with a strong focus on high-precision machined parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive machining experience in high-precision milled and turned parts.
• Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
• Experience setting up production trials.
• Familiarity with 5S and Cad/Cam software.

Responsibilities

• Direct best methods of manufacture and drive Lean improvements.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and quote lead times and costs.
• Support NPI projects.
• Assist CI activities and support the operational team.
• Program CNC milling and turning to meet customer demand.
