Job summary

& Engineering Services Ltd. in Rochester is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to develop, optimise, and continuously improve machining and manufacturing processes for operational excellence.

You will focus on CNC and conventional machining with lean manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate has a strong background in process engineering, CAD/CAM, and ERP/MRP systems, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Production Engineering required.
Experience in precision machining or industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of CNC programming principles, tooling, materials, and machining processes.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S.
Competency in CAD/CAM and ERP/MRP software.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement manufacturing processes for machining, welding and fittings areas.
Analyse process data to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality and cost.
Support introduction of new products and processes.
Prepare work instructions, control plans, and SOPs.
