Job summary

ARC IT Recruitment is assisting a fast‑growing B Corp‑certified B2C marketplace to hire an Engineering Manager for the mobile squad, owning the core user journey of the app. You will line‑manage a cross‑functional team, report to the VP of Engineering, and co‑own the roadmap with a peer PM.

Day to day involves lean experiments, DORA‑guided delivery, trade‑offs across the stack, and coaching engineers through 1:1s and PDPs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in engineering management leadership.
• Senior engineering background with ability to challenge technical decisions.
• Experience in B2C growth, acquisition, or conversion.
• Comfortable explaining trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiar with AI tooling in development (Copilot, LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Line‑manage a cross‑functional team.
• Report to the VP of Engineering.
• Co‑own the roadmap with the PM counterpart.
• Run lean experiments using DORA metrics.
• Develop engineers through 1:1s, PDPs, and performance conversations.
• Weigh technical trade‑offs across the stack.
