Decarbonisation / Energy Efficiency - Building Services

Location: Liverpool, UK

Circular Resourcing is recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Mechanically Biased) to join a well-established consulting and engineering business in the Building Services sector.

The client offers decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services and commercial real estate sectors. The Engineering Manager will lead a technical team and collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop market growth strategies.

Location: Central Liverpool, hybrid working options available.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage a team of M&E Design Engineers and supervise project activities.
• Coordinate with clients to develop tailored solutions.
• Assist in preparing client proposals with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Director.
• Develop project, resource, and budget plans with the PMO team.
• Prioritize projects and resources to meet deadlines.
• Conduct detailed building surveys to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare energy audit and review reports with recommendations.
• Perform building analysis using simulation software.
• Generate GHG emissions reports.
• Conduct feasibility studies for renewable energy projects.
• Create financial models for building service upgrades.
• Oversee building services upgrade and refurbishment projects with the PMO team.
• Deliver ESOS assessments (training provided).
• Conduct Non-Domestic EPCs up to Level 5 (training provided).
