Job summary

Escape is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its site engineering, maintenance and compliance functions within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on safety, reliability and continuous improvement across plant and processes.

You will report to the Factory Manager and drive maintenance strategy, budgeting and risk management, while collaborating with senior management to align engineering activity with operational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance.
• Experience managing maintenance programmes and engineering resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate planned preventive maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise plant reliability.
• Manage engineering budgets, resources and priorities.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with quality management requirements.
• Drive continual improvement across engineering and maintenance processes.
• Oversee contractor selection, induction and performance.
• Manage permit-to-work arrangements for high-risk activities.
• Support safe commissioning of new or relocated equipment.
