Job summary

Escape is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its manufacturing engineering and maintenance functions. You will own maintenance strategy, safety compliance, and contractor management while driving continuous improvement to support site performance.

You will work with senior management to ensure safe, reliable plant operation, manage budgets, and coordinate resources for engineering projects and compliance programs across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering and maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance.
• Experience managing contractors and external providers.
• Understanding of statutory inspection and testing requirements (ISO 9001 is advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance and engineering activities.
• Ensure maintenance strategies maximise reliability and efficiency.
• Manage budgets, resources and priorities for engineering.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement across maintenance processes.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe work.
