Job summary

E3 Recruitment is helping a global manufacturing group recruit an Engineering Manager to lead all on-site engineering and maintenance activities. The role centers on moving from reactive to proactive, reliability-led maintenance, with oversight of CBM, RCM and asset care strategies.

You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to CAPEX projects while ensuring EHS compliance and cost-effective maintenance performance.

Qualifications

  • Experienced engineering leader in manufacturing with reliability improvement track record.
  • Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification (Level 3+) required.
  • Proven ability to enhance reliability using CBM, RCM and asset care strategies.
  • Experience leading and developing multi-skilled engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practice and EHS standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team on site.
  • Drive asset reliability through CBM, asset care, RCM and proactive maintenance.
  • Implement and optimise PPM, TPM and CMMS systems.
  • Improve plant performance through data-led continuous improvement.
  • Support planned CAPEX and engineering projects.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure EHS compliance.
  • Collaborate with operations to deliver sustainable performance improvements.

Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global, market-leading manufacturing group at a key stage in its journey towards world-class engineering maintenance, and asset reliability. With significant CAPEX investment planned, the site is strengthening its engineering leadership team to help shape and deliver the next phase of its development.

The business is seeking an Engineering Manager with proven experience in improving reliability, embedding best-practice maintenance strategies, and developing high-performing engineering teams.

  • Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum (DOE)

  • A Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification (Level 3 or above)

  • Experience leading and developing multi-skilled engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practice and EHS standards
