Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function and drive sustainable continuous improvement across the site. The role focuses on maximizing asset performance and operational efficiency through lean asset management and planned maintenance strategies.

The ideal candidate will have proven engineering leadership in manufacturing, strong maintenance knowledge, and a track record of delivering improvements while upholding GMP, HACCP and BRC standards.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leadership experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of maintenance strategies (planned, predictive, corrective).
• Experience driving compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory standards (GMP, HACCP, BRC).
• Data‑driven problem solving with root-cause analysis.
• Inspiring leader with coaching and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a high-performing culture across the site.
• Drive maintenance performance and asset reliability.
• Champion GMP, HACCP, BRC, and customer requirements.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste.
• Own engineering budgets, resources and asset performance.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards with zero-harm focus.
• Develop and mentor the engineering team and cross-functional colleagues.
• Stay at the forefront of engineering best practices and innovation.
