Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc invites applications for an Engineering Manager on the Sizewell C Enabling Works and Earthworks. This site-based role leads civil engineering delivery, coordinating across methods, temporary/ permanent works, digital engineering, quality and survey to ensure right‑first‑time outcomes.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience of managing temporary works.
• Experience of managing surface water and groundwater in earthworks.
• Desirable: Chartered or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coordinate construction engineering for Enabling Works and Earthworks on SZC, site-based.Establish delivery strategy and ensure right‑first‑time engineering delivery across disciplines.
• Coordinate interfaces with procurement, commercial, information management and project controls to support delivery.
