Pioneer Selection Ltd seeks an Engineering Manager for a fast-paced manufacturing site in Accrington. You will lead the engineering function, oversee maintenance and CAPEX projects, and drive improvements in plant reliability and performance.

You will manage budgets, collaborate with production and senior management, and shape the future engineering strategy while ensuring safe, efficient operations. A strong leadership background in manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering management or senior engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and developing an engineering team.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience managing engineering budgets and contractors.
• Experience with CAPEX projects and machinery upgrades.
• Experience with CMMS and improving preventative maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Job Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Accrington, Lancashire

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

Shift: Days (Mon-Fri)

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership position with responsibility for the engineering function, team performance, site reliability and future engineering strategy.

You'll lead and develop the engineering team, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and drive improvements in plant reliability and performance. You'll also take ownership of engineering budgets, get heavily involved in CAPEX projects, machinery upgrades and site improvement projects from planning through to delivery.

Working closely with production and senior management, you'll help reduce downtime, improve maintenance strategies and identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes and overall site performance.
