Pioneer Selection in Accrington, Lancashire is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the site engineering function. You will oversee maintenance, drive reliability improvements and take ownership of industrial projects, budgets and CAPEX from planning through delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, UK experience, and a proven ability to develop and inspire an engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering management or senior engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing background.
• Experience leading and developing an engineering team.
• Strong engineering and technical background.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience with CAPEX projects and machinery upgrades.
• Experience with CMMS and improving preventative maintenance strategies.

ENGINEERING MANAGER

Job Title: Engineering ManagerLocation: Accrington, LancashireSalary: £65,000 - £70,000Shift: Days (Mon-Fri)

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership position with responsibility for the engineering function, team performance, site reliability and future engineering strategy.You'll lead and develop the engineering team, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and drive improvements in plant reliability and performance. You'll also take ownership of engineering budgets, get heavily involved in CAPEX projects, machinery upgrades and site improvement projects from planning through to delivery.Working closely with production and senior management, you'll help reduce downtime, improve maintenance strategies and identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes and overall site performance.
