Qualifications

• Significant experience in people management, with at least 2 years spent leading engineering teams through performance reviews and goal setting.
• Strong technical background as a Software Engineer with ability to build user-focused products at pace.
• Demonstrated success in team building, including hiring, onboarding, and supporting the personal growth of colleagues.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, managing local and remote engineers to deliver high-impact projects.
• Experience collaborating across Product, Design, and Operations to influence the broader roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary team of Backend, iOS, Android, and Web engineers, fostering a diverse and high-achieving environment.
• Drive technical and product strategy by setting clear project goals, guiding implementation choices, and ensuring team hit group-level metrics.
• Champion a learning culture through active mentorship, helping engineers and emerging leaders accelerate their careers.
• Scale engineering practices by implementing processes and values that improve team efficiency and code quality.
• Maintain technical engagement by contributing to code reviews and technical design, ensuring health and observability of the team's systems.
