Job summary

Relay is seeking an Engineering Manager in London to lead a fast-moving team and ship outcomes at pace. You will coach engineers and tech leads, set clear direction, and ensure work moves from idea to production while maintaining quality.

You will partner with Product, Design and Operations to balance tradeoffs, hire great engineers, deliver timely feedback, and grow the team's impact across the platform. This role is on-site in London.

• Experience leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Proven track record coaching engineers and tech leads.
• Able to hire, train, and give timely feedback at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable others while shipping outcomes with the team.
• Set clear direction and coach engineers and tech leads.
• Review meaningful changes and unblock the team when needed.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Operations on tradeoffs.
• Grow the team by hiring strong engineers and running fair performance processes.
