HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Limited is recruiting an Information, Engineering Manager to lead the engineering support for the Sellafield IDP project. You will oversee design, construction, commissioning and handover activities, driving competence and safety standards across the team.

Essentially, you will manage design quality, contract compliance and latest engineering practices while developing talent and ensuring delivery of contracted scope with optimal value for the client.

Formación

• Degree qualified in an infrastructure engineering discipline and Incorporate Engineer status (IEng) as approved by Principal Engineer.
• Experience in a similar role for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor with substantial construction and design experience.
• Understanding of Conditions of Contract and contract amendments is critical.
• Familiarity with Client engineering policies and procedures and with stakeholder approvals.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering function in the sector/region.
• Assess competence of direct reports, subcontract engineers and other technical staff.
• Ensure health, safety, welfare, environment and quality are considered in design and communicated to construction teams.
• Ensure projects deliver contracted scope with high levels of technical expertise and collaboration.
• Promote innovation and value engineering through new designs and methods.
• Support recruitment, development and retention of engineering talent.
