• Have led a team before: 1–3 years as an Engineering Manager, with 5–8 engineers.
• Technical depth in backend or frontend and distributed systems.
• Outcome-oriented: focus on real user and business problems with measurable goals.
• Strong people leadership with mentoring and timely feedback.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• AI-first approach and curiosity to adopt new tools quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or two teams of 6-8 engineers with a Tech Lead.
• Raise engineering and operational excellence with a high bar for performance and maintainability.
• Shape technical direction with Tech Leads and Staff Engineers.
• Own end-to-end delivery, collaborating with Product, Data and Marketing.
• Grow engineers and Tech Leads through coaching and feedback.
• Improve team processes to ensure quarterly improvements.
