Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a new generation of innovative products across Shark & Ninja ranges. You will bring technical substance and inspiration to enable credible market-ready solutions, driving design excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

You will own designs from concept through prototyping, verification, and production, ensuring cost efficiency and manufacturability across high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or Industrial Design Engineering.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 7–10 years in mechanical/product/industrial design.
• Experience in consumer goods household appliances desirable.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing processes.
• Experience delivering real-world products to market.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or Creo with CAD review leadership.
• Ability to motivate the team to solve, implement and verify technical solutions.
• Hands-on prototyping, product testing in the lab, developing and reporting.
• Flexible, collaborative, and proactive attitude.
• Appreciation for electrical engineering, software and UX helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead design studies and solve technical or consumer issues in product development.
• Develop and coach a high-performing design team.
• Own designs from conception through CAD, prototyping and verification.
• Improve designs for cost, manufacturability, quality and value.
• Apply engineering and product design standards for real solutions.
• Leverage high-volume manufacturing knowledge to optimize designs.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues across functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and exec teams to drive ideas to production.
