Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development of new generation products across Shark and Ninja ranges. You will bring technical substance and inspiration to deliver credible market-ready solutions and guide a team from conception through to production.

You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive design studies, CAD reviews, and manufacturing optimization to achieve high-quality, scalable products.

Qualifications

• Degree level technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or Industrial Design.
• Typically 2+ years people management experience.
• Typically 7-10 years proven experience in Mechanical/Product Design/Industrial Design environment.
• Experience in the consumer goods household appliance space desirable.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing processes.
• Experience delivering real world products to market.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or Creo with CAD reviews leadership.
• Ability to motivate your team to identify, solve, implement and verify technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leads team to carry out design studies to solve technical or consumer issues in product development.
• Builds and develops a high-performing team of A-players.
• Owns designs through conception, CAD execution, prototyping and verification.
• Continuously evaluates designs for cost efficiency, manufacturing improvements and quality.
• Applies engineering standards to deliver real solutions and optimize production.
• Collaborates with multi-functional and executive teams to move ideas to production.
