Job summary

Addepar is seeking an Engineering Manager to join its Data Platform. You will lead a global team, contribute to hands-on service development, shape architecture, and collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to improve velocity and platform capabilities for data and AI products.

Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom from day one; visa sponsorship is not available. You will be part of a platform used company-wide to ship data and AI solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or platform teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and IaC (Terraform) on AWS.
• Deep knowledge of Java or Python and relational/datastore technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
• Experience designing distributed systems and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a global engineering team in Addepar's Data Platform.
• Build and own scalable services end-to-end for data and AI products.
• Collaborate with architecture and product stakeholders to increase velocity and platform capabilities.
• Contribute to system design and drive improvements across the data platform.
