Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Engineering Manager for a fast‑paced FMCG manufacturing site near Kettering. You will lead the site engineering team, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and drive reliability improvements to maximise OEE.

You will develop maintenance strategies, ensure safety/compliance, and manage capital projects in a collaborative environment. The role is site-based with a competitive package including car allowance and pension enhancement.

Engineering Manager (FMCG / Manufacturing)
£60,000 - £68,000 + Car Allowance + Annual Salary Review + Up to 12% Employer Pension + 25 Days Holiday (Increasing with Service) + Excellent Company Benefits
Site Based, commutable from: Kettering, Northampton, Corby, Wellingborough, Market Harborough, Rushden, Thrapston, Burton Latimer and surrounding areas

Are you an Engineering Manager from an FMCG or manufacturing background looking to join a market‑leading organisation where you will lead a skilled engineering function and play a key role in improving site performance?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established manufacturer during an exciting period of investment and growth. You will have the autonomy to develop your team, improve engineering standards and drive long-term improvements across a fast‑paced production facility.

You will take full responsibility for the site engineering function, leading a team of Lead Engineers and Multi‑Skilled Engineers. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, asset reliability, engineering KPIs and continuous improvement projects.

The role would suit an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong manufacturing background who has previously led multi‑skilled engineering teams and delivered improvements across maintenance, reliability and operational performance.

The Role:

• Lead, manage and develop the site engineering team

The Person:

• Engineering management experience within manufacturing or FMCG Environment
• Proven experience leading multi‑skilled engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, reliability and asset care
