Capital on Tap is seeking an Engineering Manager in London to own the health, delivery and direction of several product engineering teams and the Team Leads who run them. You will be a true product partner, ensuring architectural soundness while unlocking new commercial revenue streams and growing revenue from existing customers.

You will shape roadmaps, balance technical debt with business needs, and lead teams to deliver measurable value while mentoring Team Leads and aligning with product,

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing managers or Team Leads.
• Strong people-management skills and hiring, development, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, able to influence across engineers, product, and leadership.
• Strong product and commercial instincts with revenue-focused mindset.
• Solid background in software architecture and system design; familiarity with full-stack teams.
• Experience in scaling fintech or tech-enabled environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own health, delivery and direction of several product engineering teams and the Team Leads who run them.
• Partner with Product and wider stakeholders to identify and deliver features/propositions that unlock revenue streams.
• Shape the 3 to 12 month roadmap, framing technical investment in terms of commercial impact and risk.
• Influence architectural direction of systems; ensure scalable, resilient and cost-effective solutions.
• Lead, coach and develop Team Leads; ensure sustainable delivery of quarterly objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks 3 to 6 months out and contribute to wider company initiatives.
