Job summary

Capital on Tap is hiring an Engineering Manager in London. You will own the health, delivery and direction of several product engineering teams, partnering with Product to unlock revenue and grow existing customers.

You will mentor Team Leads and shape roadmaps, balancing architectural integrity with business needs. You will influence standards, manage risk, and drive delivery in a fast-growing fintech environment, working 2 days weekly from our Moorgate offices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple product engineering teams.
• Strong people-management track record.
• Experience in scaling fintech environments.
• Excellent communication with engineers and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the health, delivery and direction of several product engineering teams and Team Leads.
• Partner closely with Product and stakeholders to identify and deliver features and propositions that unlock new revenue streams.
• Shape the 3 to 12 month roadmap, framing technical investment in terms of commercial impact and customer value.
• Influence architectural direction and set standards to ensure scalable, cost-effective systems.
• Lead, coach and develop Team Leads and drive iterative, sustainable delivery of quarterly objectives.
