Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the Data Center Builder Tools team. You will own and grow a portfolio of on-premise industrial automation software for data center operations, partnering with product managers to align roadmaps and deliver scalable solutions.

You will hire and mentor engineers, drive engineering standards, and manage sprint planning, design reviews, and service health in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering team management and building high-performing teams.
• Experience designing or architecting scalable software systems and diagnosing architectural tradeoffs.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring and managing software engineers to improve performance.
• Travel up to 20% of the time.
• Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems.

• Set engineering standards and operational excellence, and oversee agile processes.
