Job summary

Amadeus in London is seeking an Assoc. Manager, Engineering to lead one of the CM Scrum teams that design, develop and deliver the Departure Control System used by hundreds of airlines and billions of passengers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in software engineering and Agile methodologies (ideally SAFe).
• Previous management experience and customer-facing roles are strong pluses; experience in Travel IT is a plus.
• Understanding of large-scale, complex systems that run 24x7.

Responsibilities

• Lead a CM Scrum team of analysts and engineers to design, develop and deliver high-quality CM evolutions.
• Ensure alignment with other CM component teams and streams and manage production releases.
• Manage customer expectations, scope, timeline and cost; build trust with stakeholders.
