Job summary

Stagecoach Peterhead is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of around 45 buses and coaches at our Buchan depots.

You will manage engineering staff, drive health and safety, oversee stock, recruit and train apprentices, and develop your team through coaching and hands-on leadership with autonomy over resource planning and budget. You will have opportunities to progress towards Chief Engineer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a similar fleet-based environment.
• Evidence of managing performance, safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team to maintain and repair a fleet of ~45 buses/coaches.
• Oversee stock, inventory, and procurement; manage budget and resource planning.
• Recruit, train and mentor technicians and apprentices; drive health & safety initiatives.
