Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer in Engineering to join our Rainham Campus. You will teach and assess learners across Engineering programmes from Level 2 to HNC, covering mechanical, electrical/electronic principles, and related subjects.

You will hold an engineering qualification with industry experience and be prepared to obtain a teaching/training credential such as PGCE/PTLLS/DTLLS.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with relevant industry experience.
• Experience developing assessment plans and schemes of work.
• A1 Assessor Award is required; V1 Award desirable.
• Willingness to work towards PGCE/PTLLS/DTLLS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching, training and assessment across accredited Engineering qualifications.
• Plan and develop student-centred learning activities, schemes of work and assessment plans.
• Assess and support students and apprentices from induction through to successful achievement.
• Provide regular feedback, tutorials and individual support to help learners achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Engineering programmes and qualifications.
• Work closely with colleagues, employers, awarding bodies and other partners.
• Maintain accurate learner, assessment and course records and contribute to quality assurance processes.
