Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a Lecturer in Engineering (Higher-Education) to join East Midland Institute of Technology, based at Loughborough College, on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will deliver Level 4–6 Engineering modules to HE students and apprentices.

The role requires an engineering degree or master, a willingness to pursue a teaching qualification, and the ability to motivate learners using varied teaching methods.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to motivate students through varied teaching strategies.
• Use industry experience to contextualise learning in electrical engineering and power networks.
• Be able to deliver high quality and challenging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Use industry experience to contextualise learning and develop students’ understanding of electrical engineering and power networks.
• Play a key role in quality assurance and quality improvement processes – full training will be provided.
• Deliver high quality and challenging learning experiences across HE modules.
