Wise in London is hiring an experienced Engineering Lead for the Recommend team (Backend Focused) to shape the roadmap and own the technical strategy. You will lead a group of engineers, mentor them, and stay hands-on as needed to deliver scalable, incentivised referral campaigns and trusted customer experiences.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics, champion a strong engineering culture, and hire and grow the team while ensuring delivery on ambitious growth objectives.

• Hands-on ability to dive into code when needed.
