Build Maintain Recruit Limited is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist contractor delivering complex projects across the data centre, critical infrastructure and energy sectors in West London. The project comprises 18 data halls and HV energy centres, a flagship hyperscale development.

As Project Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering leadership, governance and quality assurance across the construction lifecycle, coordinating design teams, construction managers and package

Qualifications

• Degree and proven experience leading engineering teams on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong governance, assurance and quality management capabilities.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
• CSCS Manager Card held.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering function across a major construction project.
• Establish engineering standards, governance processes and technical assurance.
• Ensure compliance with designs, specifications and employer requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead buildability and constructability reviews to improve delivery.
• Manage interfaces between design, construction and package teams.
• Oversee technical risk management and engineering compliance.
• Lead quality assurance processes and governance of NCRs.
• Drive continuous improvement and engineering best practice.
• Mentor and develop senior engineers and wider teams.
