Job summary

Sphere Solutions is recruiting two experienced Senior Engineers to support the delivery of two major hyperscale data centre developments in London. This permanent position offers the chance to work with a well‑established contractor with over 40 years' experience delivering complex projects across data centre, defence and energy sectors.

You will lead day‑to‑day engineering delivery, provide technical support to construction teams, coordinate design information and temporary works, manage RFIs

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering activities on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and construction sequencing.
• Experience managing technical queries, engineering records and site coordination.
• CSCS Manager Card or equivalent site qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day engineering delivery of allocated project packages.
• Providing technical support and guidance to construction teams.
• Coordinating engineering activities to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.
• Managing technical queries (RFIs), engineering documentation and project records.
• Coordinating design information, technical interfaces and temporary works.
• Supporting workface planning and ensuring engineering information is available ahead of construction activities.
• Identifying and resolving engineering constraints to maintain project progress.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Supporting inspections, testing, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Monitoring engineering progress, reporting risks and contributing to successful project delivery.
