G's Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to oversee a team of engineers, drive reliability, and deliver cost-effective engineering solutions in a fast-paced production environment.

The role focuses on leading day-to-day maintenance activities, improving plant performance, and guiding engineering projects from concept to implementation while fostering a proactive maintenance culture and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Hands-on approach with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support a team of engineers, promoting high performance and continuous development.
• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
• Provide electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding support during equipment breakdowns.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Be involved with engineering projects, collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders from concept through to implementation.
• Develop and maintain safe systems of work and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate engineering priorities with production teams to minimise disruption and maximise productivity.
• Support the development of engineering team capability through coaching, mentoring, and training.
• Build effective relationships with contractors and ensure all required procedures and documentation are in place.
• Support compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements at all times.
