G's Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to drive performance and develop people within a fast-paced production environment. You will provide day-to-day leadership, deliver safe and cost-effective engineering solutions, and work closely with production to maximise equipment availability.

You will lead a team of engineers, promote high performance, and foster a proactive maintenance culture while ensuring safety, compliance, and effective collaboration with contractors and suppliers.

Formación

• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical knowledge.
• Hands-on approach with good problem-solving.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support a team of engineers to high performance.
• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules maximise reliability.
• Provide fault-finding support during breakdowns.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders from concept to implementation.
• Develop and maintain safe systems of work and best practices.
• Coordinate priorities with production to maximise productivity.
• Coach, mentor, and train the engineering team.
• Build relationships with contractors and ensure procedures and docs are in place.
• Support compliance with health, safety and statutory requirements.
