Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd seeks a Senior Civil Engineer in Nottingham to lead drainage, SuDS and highways design, with hands-on technical work and growing leadership responsibilities. You will manage projects, engage directly with clients, and contribute to the Civils team's ongoing development.

Ideal candidates will have strong UK development infrastructure consultancy experience and be Chartered or working towards Chartership.

Qualifications

• Strong UK development infrastructure consultancy experience.
• Technical capability across drainage, SuDS and highways.
• Experience managing projects and dealing directly with clients.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership advised.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage, SuDS and highways design.
• Deliver projects from planning through detailed design.
• Prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Manage project delivery and client relationships.
• Coordinate with developers and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Help shape the continued development of the Civils team.
