Job summary

NatWest Group is offering an eight-week Engineering internship designed to immerse you in agile ways of working and real business projects. You’ll join SCRUM teams, contribute to engineering work, and learn how our AI-assisted practices support secure, scalable banking solutions.

During the programme you’ll engage with industry experts, access NatWest Learning Academy, and explore how engineering impacts Retail, Wealth, Commercial & Institutional and Customer & Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of university, STEM subject 2:1 expected.
• Strong communication, ability to break down complex problems and explain ideas.
• Curious, logical mindset with passion for solving problems and emerging technologies.
• Comfortable with data, statistics and experimentation; evidence-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Scrum teams on real business projects.
• Attend daily stand-ups and end-of-sprint demos, retros and feedback sessions.
• Learn and apply agile methodologies and AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Build understanding of NatWest products and services and how engineers contribute to the business.
