Job summary

NatWest Group is offering an eight-week Engineering internship in the United Kingdom. You will contribute to real engineering projects within Scrum teams, attend daily stand-ups and end-of-sprint demos, and develop skills through agile methods and AI-assisted practices.

You'll learn how engineers support NatWest's digital platforms for customers, build a professional network, and gain exposure to products across Retail, Wealth, Commercial & Institutional and Operations.

Qualifications

Penultimate year of university in STEM.
On track for a 2:1 in a STEM subject.
Clear communication skills and ability to break down complex problems.
Curious, logical mindset with interest in emerging technologies including AI.
Comfort working with data, statistics and experimentation.
Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Responsibilities

Participate in real engineering projects during the internship.
Attend daily standups in Scrum project teams and contribute to demos.
Develop engineering skills through agile methodologies and AI-assisted practices.
Attend engineering spotlight events to understand broader business impact.
Learn about NatWest products and services for customers and colleagues.
